Peter Loran sent his sketch (above) and a photo of himself with the nose art on display. 

"That was me 12 years ago, in the Persian Gulf .Cpl Peter Loran; Scout, Sniper/Artist. This is my first nose art job. When they asked me to do it I was surprised. The crew from HMH-461 out of Camp Leujune, N.C. I was with 3rd Bat. 2nd Mar. Div. S.T.A. PLT.
"We went deep to be the eye and ears. We take out targets of opportunity, sniper /recon work. The aircraft in the photo was the one that got us in and out. Ch 53 Super Stallion, I think. "
